From the Beginning
Think. Reason. Question. Experiment. These are just a few of the skills and qualities that children will develop at Cece's Playhouse. Since our founding, we’ve focused on supporting kids during all transitions throughout childhood.
All activities are designed to adequately nurture the emotional and intellectual growth of our kids. Through stimulating situations and hands-on learning opportunities, young children are free to develop into bright young minds. Reach out to learn more, and enroll with us today!
OUR ART PROGRAM
Thoughtfully put together with your child in mind
We are so very proud of the Art Program at Cece's Playhouse! Each week throughout the year your child puts together creative art pieces. At the end of the year, we celebrate all their hard work with a summer gathering and art show we call Fiestavus.
SKILLS LEARNED AT CECE'S PLAYHOUSE
Through everyday activites your child is developing and nurturing new skills.

Our program is thoughtfully put together with your childs development in mind.
CIRCLE TIME: is a group gathering during which we share our ideas, plans and observations. Circle activities are design to stimulate thinking, enrich social skills, and expand attention spans.
GROSS MOTOR ACTIVITIES give our children the opportunity to use their muscles as well as their imaginations as they engage in fun activities. We create healthy exercises such as running, jumping and climbing outside. We use music, games and our own creativity to stimulate children when we are inside.
FINE MOTOR ACTIVITIES help improve small muscles development and eye-hand coordination. Some common items found in our fine motor/manipulative area include puzzles, beads and laces, markers, scissors and many more items.
ART ACTIVITIES help our children creatively express their thoughts and feelings. They help reinforce fine motor skills and concept development in areas such as colors, shapes and size relationships.
DRAMATIC-PLAY ACTIVITIES help our children express themselves, practice life skills, improve social skills, increase self esteem and awareness, build vocabulary, problem solve and JUST HAVE FUN!!!
MUSIC ACTIVITIES promote listening skills, creative expression and social skills. In music we can explore sound, volume, tempo and rhythm.
SCIENCE ACTIVITIES offer many hands on opportunities for observation, exploration, investigation, making predictions and experimentation. The children also enjoy bug, rock and leaf collecting.
SAND AND WATER ACTIVITIES allow our children to experiment with textures and the properties of different substances. These activities also promote the development of other skills such as math, science and language.
BLOCK PLAY gives experience with many different concepts such as shape and size discrimination, spatial relationships, number skills, balance, organization, cause and effect and classification. Cooperative play skills, problem solving and creativity are also promoted in block play.
STORY TIME is designed to help develop an appreciation and enjoyment of literature. Reading activities enhance vocabulary and comprehension skills and also expand their knowledge base.
I hope to provide a loving, caring home program where the children will grow in their understanding and respect for each other and learn to make positive choices towards independent growth and development.
We teach children to help themselves by learning skills like getting shoes/coat on and off, finding their personal belongings in their box, washing hands, pulling out their chairs, sweeping floors, cleaning tables and chairs, and using inside voices and inside feet.
Our childcare is filled with toys, games, musical instruments, books and a clean environment to help your child develop into healthy and happy children.
